CryoTherapie
Als Cryotherapie oder Kältetherapie bezeichnet man den gezielten Einsatz von Kältereizen um einen therapeutischen Effekt zu bewirken. Denn die besondere Wirkweise von Kälte ist schon seit der Antike bekannt. Diese Erkenntnis findet in der heutigen Ganzkörperkältetherapie ihre Weiterentwicklung. Die Kryotherapie zählt zu den physikalischen Therapieverfahren und wird in unterschiedlichen Einrichtungen als Alternativtherapie oder Ergänzung zu bestehenden Therapien eingesetzt. Aber auch im Amateur- und Profisport wird die Ganzkörperkälte angewendet. Sportler unterschiedlicher Disziplinen setzen Kälte vor oder nach dem Training bzw. Wettkampf zu unterschiedlichen Zwecken ein. Die CRYO BOX wird auch oft Ein-Personen-Kältekammer, Eissauna, Eistonne, Cryosauna oder Kältesauna genannt. Ihre CRYO BOX Sitzung dauert lediglich drei Minuten bei bis zu -160° Celsius. Da es sich um eine trockene Kälte handelt ist die Behandlung sehr gut verträglich und somit auch für ältere Personen geeignet. Durch die extreme Kälte schüttet unser Körper zahlreiche Hormone aus und steigert stark seine Durchblutung, die Sauerstoffversorgung des Gewebes und den Stoffwechsel. Hierdurch entstehen zahlreiche positive Effekte, die durch regelmäßige Wiederholungen verstärkt werden. Das Ziel der Kryotherapie ist es, Ihnen eine bessere Gesundheit zu bieten und sich schneller von Verletzungen zu erholen. Diese Vorteile beginnen mit der Verringerung von Entzündungen, Schmerzlinderung und verbesserter Mobilität.

EMS Training
EMS bedeutet Elektromuskelstimulation und ist ein Ganzkörpertraining unter Strom. Aber keine Sorge, das EMS-Training findet unter einem niedrigen, ungefährlichen Reizstrom statt. Der Strom setzt nur einen zusätzlichen Reiz und verstärkt somit den Trainingseffekt. Das bedeutet intensivere und gezieltere Muskelarbeit als bei einem Training ohne Strom.
Muskelkontraktion durch Strom ist letztlich nur das, was der Körper ohnehin ständig tut: Die Kommunikation zwischen Muskeln und Gehirn, mit der wir unsere Skelettmuskulatur steuern und uns bewegen, funktioniert über Stromimpulse. Dabei fließt der Strom vom Gehirn über das Rückenmark bis zu den Nervenenden – und geht dann in die Muskeln über.
Die Frequenz der Stromimpulse gibt an, wie lang und intensiv die Kontraktion ist. Ein einzelner Impuls ist lediglich ein Zucken, mehrere Impulse hintereinander führen zu einer sogenannten tetanischen Kontraktion – und der Muskel entfaltet seine Kraft.
Bei EMS gelangt der Strom von den Elektroden einer Ganzkörperweste über angefeuchtete Pads auf der Haut direkt zu den Nervenenden. Die Stromimpulse, die mit ihren meist 80 Hertz (bis 150 Hertz) den natürlichen Frequenzen entsprechen, kontrahieren den Muskel oder verstärken die willentliche Kontraktion des Sportlers.
